Who are apprenticeships aimed at?

Apprenticeships are aimed at school leavers. Instead of a University degree you can gain the skills needed to work in the construction industry through an apprenticeship program.

Intermediate and advanced apprenticeships at Level 2 and 3 are for people who have left school with GCSEs.

Higher and Degree apprenticeships at Level 4,5,6 and 7 are for those who have finished their A-level qualifications.

After completing your apprenticeship many companies will offer a permanent role in their company. We have good relationships with leading industry leaders and most of our apprentices find permanent roles once the program is successfully completed.

How much will you get paid?

Apprentices are paid the National Minimum Wage which stands at £3.90 per hour for the first year. After the first year you must be paid the minimum wage rate for your age group.

As an apprentice you will be paid for your normal working hours, as well as for any training that is part of your scheme. You are entitled to 20 days paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays. Salaries are determined by individual employers.
